Alumni Association Members Help Feed Midlands Families

Members of MTC’s Alumni Association give back to the community at Harvest Hope.

On Saturday, July 8, MTC Alumni Association volunteers teamed with Harvest Hope Food Bank to help assemble 469 boxes of varied food items. Over the next few days, Harvest Hope Food Bank will distribute the food to families around the Midlands.

“The Alumni Association is proud to work with community partners that serve the Midlands,” said MTC President and Alumni Association member, Dr. Ronald L. Rhames. “The Alumni Association does so much to support students currently enrolled at MTC.  It also is working to engage with MTC alumni from all over the Midlands to find ways to give back to the communities that we serve.”

By joining, association members are displaying their pride in the college and the experience they gained while at MTC, while also spreading the good word about how MTC helped them succeed.

Our alumni’s accomplishments literally become the Alumni Association’s achievements as it continues to share the story of MTC alumni who can get anywhere from here.
